Jackson Capps and Skylar Wallace LIVE!

Jackson Capps began playing guitar when he was eight and started going to Nashville, Tennessee the next year. He loved the traditional country music on Lower Broadway and started teaching himself to play the songs he was influenced by: Hank Williams, Sr.'s "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" and Johnny Cash's "I Walk the Line." He was also influenced by other country greats like Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, George Jones, Marty Stuart, and Ernest Tubb. Jackson played onstage for the first time when he was nine in Nashville at the World Famous Tootsie's Orchid Lounge, who has been sponsoring him since 2011. Since that time, he has been honing his talents, playing guitar, singing, and writing songs and has become a triple threat. Jackson makes trips to Nashville as often as he can, where he plays at The Listening Room and Rippy’s.

Skylar Wallace is a thirteen-year-old red-headed ball of fire who is the offspring of two musically talented parents. Her father, Ron Wallace is a gifted singer, songwriter and musician in Nashville, Tennessee where he lives. Her mother, Holli Carden Wallace was a back-up singer for the popular country band Confederate Railroad for many years. Although Skylar was born in the Music City, she now resides in Birmingham, Alabama with her mother and grandparents, visiting her father in Nashville as often as she can, playing venues on Lower Broadway.
